I spent Monday morning of this week collaborating with classroom teachers about how to deal with this topic with their particular classrooms. I also participated in some Morning Meetings during which conversations about the topic took place. Students were reassured that we have safety plans in place and were given an opportunity to ask questions and express concerns.
